Welcome, seekers of Truth. The Twelve Star Almanac project was founded in 2010 to further the research of astrological "coincidences." This site is focused on research and development in astrology and any related field. Many will reject the idea that astrology has any validity as a science, but to them we must say, "Tomorrow's science is often today's folly." There is but one Truth and it is that which we are all trying to describe. The only way that one perspective can be better than another is when one describes Truth more fully or more accurately than another. Science, by proper definition, is the systematic description of the Universe in which we all live. Science involves no explanation, only description. Explanation is an active, creative process while description is a passive process. If a study can systematically describe the Universe in a useful way, it is a useful science.

Thinking logically, if what we perceive as being astrological influence has nothing to do with the arrangements of our solar system, then astrology should be no more accurate in novel prediction than a random number generator is in mathematics. Even 50% accuracy is significant. Low accuracy only means that you must further refine your system of influence prediction. Astrology can only be "debunked" if there is no accuracy. Systems of high accuracy in novel prediction are generally called natural sciences. This fact underscores the need for specificity in astrology. It is true that general predictions of influence are much more likely to occur than more specific ones. This is why it's safer to give general interpretations, but less useful. It should be remembered that scientific breakthroughs are usually the domain of those who are unafraid of being wrong. When you have your reasons, make your claims, but not before.

This website is meant to be a repository for tools and information that students of astrology can use to refine currently known systems or begin whole new ones. You'd be surprised how easy it is to create a whole system of astrology if you already have all of the necessary information in front of you. This site and these tools are meant to be a field of fertile soil for the astrologically-minded. Sow your ideas, work the land, and see what comes out of it. Considering this soup of radiation and gravitation in which we live, it would be truly surprising if none of the pieces had relationships. To a reasonable, scientific mind, the planets having influences which impact humans is the more likely idea. We can already prove that everything touches everything else in some way at every single moment of existence. How can anyone think that doesn't matter?
